March Madness - Ingame Cash Give Away

I'll say this first: If you want to participate, register now both Guild and Non-Guild members! Post here or pm me, Jrp( d o p p e l ), on Discord your ingame name | class. In Example; "FewPewPew | Invoker".

Why do I have to register? (Sounds silly )
 The event will take place in MyHome. Currently, no one can enter unless I send an invite, and I need your ingame name to send it.

That is why I'm telling you now to register. Registration ends 9 March 00:00 Berlin/server time. Anyone that puts their names after this time will not qualify.

Now for event details:
I am hosting an event I call: March Madness Ingame Cash Give Away (long title)
 
Tune in Friday, 8 March / around 13:30 Berlin/server time for a bonus YouTube/Twitch live stream! For about an hour or so. (*Hint Hint*youmaywanttowatch)

Main Event and a YouTube/Twitch Live Stream will be Saturday, 9 March / around 13:30 Berlin/server time. Duration depends on how many participates. The more participants, the more time it may take since I got to do everything (sweat).


I separate the event into 2 parts. Public session, and Guild Only session.

Public, anyone BUT NO Guild members or Ally (Eternity/Infinity/Royal) can participate.

Guild Only, anyone in the Guild and Ally (Eternity/Infinity/Royal) can participate.

Public session will start first. Then after, Guild session will immediately start.

Players that register will take a Quiz, Q:A, inside MyHome. Half of the questions for Public will be General Ingame related, and the other half will be my YouTube channel, HossSwayerPR, related. It can be anything, so study hard ;P  [cough]playlists[sneeze]about page[cough]

Total of 12 Questions (5 Ingame General related, 5 YouTube Channel related, 1 Random, and 1 BONUS)

Total of 13 Questions (5 Ingame Guild General related, 5 YouTube Channel related, 1 Random, and 2 BONUS)

You answer all questions by Private Message (PM) my character Doppel or Sammy ingame, or Jrp( d o p p e l ) in Discord. Please follow this format when you PM your answer to Doppel or Sammy ingame, or Jrp( d o p p e l ) in Discord:

if its number:
question number - your answer

if its random:
random - your answer

if its BONUS:
BONUS - answer

In example MyHome normal chat:
Doppel: 1 - What color is the sky?
PM->Doppel: 1 - Blue

Doppel: Random - What color is the sky?
PM->Doppel: random - Blue

Doppel: BONUS - What color is the sky?
PM->Doppel: BONUS - Blue

Depending how many people participate will depend how timely this event will run.


Ready to hear the Grand Prize?
Public session = 2100 Ingame Cash To the one that gets every question correct OR has the most correct answers, including BONUS questions!
Guild Only session = 5100 Ingame Cash To the one that gets every question OR has the most correct answers, including BONUS questions! Each Guild Only question is at least double reward.

So if you answer 3 questions correctly, you will earn the sum reward of 3 correct answers. However, if you are the lucky one and answered the most questions correctly INCLUDING BONUS question(s), you win the Grand prize!

For Guild Only session, to achieve Grand Prize you have to answer all questions, OR have the most answered questions INCLUDING BOTH BONUS questions. If you only get 1 BONUS question correct, you will not win both BONUS rewards, NOR 1 BONUS reward. Both must be answered correctly!

Remember, there can only be 1 Public Grand Prize winner AND 1 Guild Grand Prize winner. Should there be 2 or more participants that get all questions correctly, OR answered the same amount of most questions  correctly, that part of event will enter "Sudden Break" mode and I will choose the tie breaker activity of my choice.

Grand prize winners will receive their reward as soon as both parts of the events are over (and possibly after a small 10 minute intermission).

The rest of participants will receive their reward no later than 11 March 23:59 Berlin/server time.

With all that said, there are rules that must be set, and there are ways to get disqualified:

Rules/Conditions;

- Once in MyHome, you cannot leave until that part of event is over.
- There is a timer (30 seconds) for each question. Once timer is up, next question will be given.
- The event is English, but anyone can participate (as long as your register) and let me know so I can extend the timer a little more. But once extended time is up, next question will be given.
- If for any reason you have to leave/log off in the middle of event, you may do so. Any/All questions you answered correctly will count and reward will be given.
- All rewards will be given by 11 March 23:59 Berlin/server time. If you do not receive / claim reward by that time, it will be a sign/deemed as forfeiture by player.


Ways to get disqualified before or during event;

- If you are participant in Public session and violate General and/or In Game rules (per rules page: https://dragonica.online/forum/?topic=370.0)
- If you are participant in Guild Only session and violate both Guild Rules and/or General, In Game rules (per Guild Discord channel section: #rules, and rules page: https://dragonica.online/forum/?topic=370.0)
- If you disturb the ingame peace in someway that it is unbearable to carry out the event.

Oh, I failed to mention the following;

Public session: InGame Related, each correct answer is reward 100c
Public session: YouTube Channel Related, each correct answer is reward 200c
Public session: Random, correct answer is reward 100c
Public session: BONUS: correct answer is reward 500c

Guild Only session: InGame Related, each correct answer is reward 200c
Guild Only session: YouTube Channel Related, each correct answer is reward 400c
Guild Only session: Random, correct answer is reward 100c
Guild Only session: BONUS: correct answer is reward 1000c , in actuality its 2000c when you answer both correctly. Again, both must be answered correctly, or no dice

Unfortunately, event was canceled due to not enough registered participants. Maybe in the future I'll host it IF more players ask to bring back this event.
