Guide for all new Player
« on: May 29, 2016, 10:55:54 PM »
Hello everyone,
since lot of people ask me in the Game about stuff i make this guide to help those who are new to this game or don't know how to get something.
This is how my guide is structured:
-Overview of all Classes
-How to advance your class (level 20/40/60)
-Best way to level up fast (no story)
-How to farm Gold
-What can be usefull to farm (equipment).

Overview of all Classes:
Warrior
The Warrior uses a Sword as weapon. He got good damage in the start of the game with his hammers and stormblade.
He can choose to advance to a Gladiator or Knight.

Knight
The Knight will advance to the Paladin and Dragoon. He stick to the One Hand Sword from the Warrior. He got a lot of controll skills and medium Damage.
His Buff skills increase his Health/Defence/parry. The Knight focus on getting more and more percent on his Parry, that he can parry the damage away. The Knight can also get a lot of Critical Damage with some Armor Sets later. As long as you don't focus on movementspeed the Knight is rather slow but he can still jump around a bit and is fast in clearing monster groups.

Gladiator
The Gladiator is more like a berserk and will advance to the Myrmidon and Overlord. He uses a Two Handed Sword. He got no defensive skills or anything to parry stuff. He is designed to run into the enemys and hit them with not many but heavy hits. Especially his buff "Bloody Roar" which he gets later as Myrmidon increase his Physical Attack by 60% if you have skilled it at 5/5. As Gladiator you focus on getting Critical Damage. Sadly the Gladiator Damage is one of the lowest. But that doesn't mean the Gladiator deals no Damage, but compare to the DPS of other classes he is on the lowest Tier. As long as you don't focus on movementspeed the Gladiator is rather slow but he can do some good and long combos and is fast in clearing monster groups.

Archer
The Archer uses a Bow as weapon. he got good Damage in the start of the game with his Shotdown and Multishot(still usefull in the end of the game).
He can choose to advance to a Hunter or Marksman.

Hunter
The Hunter will advance to the Pathfinder and Sentinel. He stick to the Bow from the Archer. He got a lot of traps and some nice knock ups. He focus on Movementspeed and Agility to run around the enemys to dodge them and knock them in the air to kill them with the Anti-Air Shot. He can get really fast but you have to focus on Critical Damage in order to deal a decent amount of Damage.

Marksman
The Marksman will advance to the Specialist and Destroyer. He uses a Crossbow. He can get fast as well but he got skills with good damage without having to focus on Critical Damage. Focusing on Critical Damage will just give you incredible Damage boost if you get some critical rate as well. He got not that many skills but his skills deals a lot fo Damage. He also got two different "turrets" which he can place (one shots monster in a 360° area, the other one shots monster in a line in front of that "turret"). He works with different kinds of grenades.

Thief
The Thief uses a Claw as weapon. He got not the best damage for the start (first 20 level). He can choose to advance to a Bandit or Infiltrator.

Bandit
The Bandit will advance to the Rogue and Savage. He stick to the Claw from the Thief. He will use all kind of dances to fight and can get a good amount of movementspeed. He can deal Damage to a lot of enemys at the same time. As Rogue he can move while he dance.

Infiltrator
The Infiltrator will advance to the Assassin and Ninja. He uses a Katar as weapon. He does the usual Ninja stuff like throwing dagger and shuriken. He can change his form into a Ninja form where he got some new skills which can be pretty usefull. That form also grant you more movementspeed. He focus on critical Damage and can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time

Magician
The Magician uses a Staff as weapon. He got good Damage in the start of the game. He can choose to advance to a Monk or Wizard

Monk
The Monk will advance to the Priest and Invoker. He stick to the Staff from the Magician. He Focus on Buffing his X-Attack and healing/Buffing himself and his party member. He gets himself a lot of Health and Attackspeed. The Monk deals a lot of Damage later. He got a huge Damage Debuff in PvP(for his x-attack).

Wizard
The Wizard advance to the Warlock and Sorcerer. He uses a Spear as weapon. He got the lowest Damage in the end game but is still usefull for freezing stuff and tanking a lot. He uses freeze and shocks and with Critical Damage he still deals good Damage.

Dragonkin:
Dragonkin classes start at level 1 but got a hero quests which gives them instant level 20. If you try to get to level 20 without the quest your character will just be bugged and won't be able to advance his class.
You need a Human class at level 20 to be able to create a Dragonkin.

Twin Fighter
The Twin Fighter advance to the Gemini, Mirage and Jumeaux. He uses Fists as weapon. He deals good damage in the start and the end of the game. He fights with two characters you can control at the same time using different skills. he can also use a skill called "Fusion" to "eat" :D his Twin and fight as one person, that way he gain some new skills. He requires a lot of Skill points. He got himself a buff called "At Light Speed" this buff gives him 100% attackspeed and 150 Movementspeed. You shouldn't miss that.

Shaman
The Shaman advance to the Summoner, Elementalist and Earth Master. He uses a Gun Staff as weapon. He deals medium damage in the start but the highest Damage in the end of the game. He uses some summons which can fight with him and some other cool skills but his real damage come from his x-attack spam which gets boosted once he got the buff "Smart Shot" at 5/5. He focuses on Attackspeed and gaining more and more Magic Attack.

How to advance your class (level 20/40/60):
The Purple quests are there to advance your class. There is a questchain at level 20/40 and 60. The quest for level 20 starts at  Port of the Winds by Colin. After you finished that Purple quests you can go to your class Master who are next to the Sink Hole in Port of the Wins. The class Master of your class got two Hero(red) quests. Each of them will advance your job to one of those i mentioned above.

For the Job advancement for level 40 you need to go to Libra and talk with Pablo. For that questchain you need to kill 3 Monster which are located at the Wailing Hill, Nautilus Port and Mining Area. To Find them you have to go through the blue portals. Wailing Hill Bottom Left. Nautilus Port on the left, Mining Area Top Left corner.

For the Job advancement for level 60 you need to go to Vartika Hill and talk to Hell Krouzer. He will ask you to get him some stuff and then you have to clear Van Cliff which is located in the top of Village of Ash Mist.
Killing The Boss after Stage B25 can be hard for newcomer so feel free to ask for Help.

Best way to level up fast (no story):
The Best way to level up fast without bothering with the Story is to get some x25 Potions out of the Cash shop for free.
Until level 20 you go to the Advanced Windia Plains and kill some Monster until you reached level 10. After that you go to the Canyon of Oblivion and do the Mission Map (F1 1 Map) until you reached level 20. Do your Job advancement and then get some Potions and go to the Cherry Blossom map (The Portal is in Port of the Winds on the left on the Island in the centre). There you do the Mission Map F1 1 Map Over and Over you generate a Repeat Bonus and the monster are always a bit higher in the level than you. You can do that until level 40 do the next advancement and go for 60. After level 60 i recommend doing the Mission Maps for your level on the Maps after Village of Ash Mists to gain some gold as well.

How to Farm Gold:
The most effective way to Farm Gold is to kill Kryos over and over with a level between 65-70. I recommend to stop at level 70 for the start and farm a lot of Gold at Kryos. The classes Invoker and Earth Master have it harder to farm gold and need more time for it. The speed of the other classes depends on how well you can play them. The Best weapon therefore is the Zauharant weapon, i will mention that in what will be usefull to farm.

What can be usefull to Farm:
The most usefull thing to Farm is the Zauharant Weapon. It is a weapon for level 70. You can obtain the recipe for it by a quest. In order to get the quest with the recipe you have to go to Evan at Ellora Camp and complete the quest for the Shoulderguar Recipe. After that you get access to the other quests like the Weapon quest. The Chaotic Metal dust you gain from the bosses in the  Normal Mode at the Drakos Tower (Ellora camp on the right side), the cursed Bomb dust you gain from bosses in the Hero mode. The Gem of Darknes Glory Curse drop from killing paris (after floor 50) normal(Gem of Curse) rare(Gem of Darkness) and hero(Gem of Glory) mode. If you need help with that feel free to ask if someone got time to.

The next thing that is usefull to farm is the Sharp Paws Weapon. This Weapon is equipped in your "Item Mall" equipment and is not the weapon you really fight with it is just for stats and the look. if you get the "artifact" weapon it gives you 5% pure critical rate, 10% attackspeed and 10% aim rate. You can farm this weapon at Geffen Catacombs. The Portal to Geffen is next to the Portal of the Beared Whale Coast in Port of the Winds. You need to complete the short quest from Telling(next to Geffen portal) in order to enter geffen with this "special" set equipped. then you just go straight top, between those two guards up there is a portal to the geffen catacombs you can do that dungeon over and over and for each time you kill the Boss you gain 4 RO-Coins. You need 150 RO-Coins to get the 3rd grade of that weapon. you trade the RO-Coins with "Kafra Employee <Deporte>". the 1st grade of the weapon needs 40 RO-Coins the 2nd grade 50Coins+1st grade weapon and the 3rd grade 60Coins+2nd grade weapon.

The next thing is the Hero Sign of Kazeura, This one you get as reward for completing a bunch of quests but it is worth the effort because it gives you 20%MaxHP and 20%MaxMP, 15 Agility/Strength/intelligence/Health.
The Quests are

The start NPC for the Quest Paradise is "Priest Horn <Ochukoe>" in Kazeura Village.

Wow, this is really informative. Makes me wish there's a 'like' function on this site.

Can I ask a question about the gold farming part? Does the rank we got at the end of the F1 run affect the gold drop from Kryos? Also, is it viable to farm cursed bomb dust to sell on the market right now?

Getting a rank higher than S Grant you 3 items additional to the 30->40gold droö from killing kryos. You can either make that items to soulsnor sell them for a bit extra gold. The problem with the cursed bomb dust right now is the low amount of Player. You can try that but right now farming kryos is more efficient
