if the gear you drop is sealed you can unseal it and it will get advanced/Special or Artifact.
for a Ninja i can recommend using 3 Parts of the chaotic level 61 and 3 parts of the chaotic level 67 set for critical damage.
you can farm them at the mission maps that come after ash mist village in the chaos mode (F2). I recommend using Gada coins which you can get free out of the cash shop. Using them you have a 100% chance at the end of each mission map to get an item for your class. It does not have to be a set part but using this will get you the set parts way faster.
For the weapon i recommend getting the Zauharant Weapon. you can get a quest from Evan at Ellora camp for a shoulderguard recipe. Complete that quest and you gain access to the quest for the weapon recipe.
