Hello,

i noticed that Invokers attack speed is based on "milestones" or breaking points, and quite fps-based too.
So i tested it, and around 220% i have one of this breaking points and my shots are faster abit, then, next breaking point appear at 255-256%, i can clearly notice speed up, but then what? getting even more attack speed and hope to reach next breaking point? i maxed around 320% and still didnt notice any change. So right now Invokers have a attack speed cap at near 260% at 60 fps, if its lower than 60 then u clearly need more % to manage the same attack speed animation.
 
So im kind of interested if making attack speed works "normally" like every % matters. ?

I heard that Summoners dont have a problem like this, i dont know, i didnt test it.
But if its true is it possible to make it work for Invokers too?

60fps means also up to 60 actions a second, so if your animation lasts 15fps you can shoot 4 times in a second if you can manage to keep it frame perfect which is only possible with scripts or keyboard macros. the more attackspeed you have the faster the animation the more actions you can do per second, if you don't use scripts or keyboard macros you will have a limit as a human and i guess that limit is around 250%-300%. on the official server i can reach up to 500% attackspeed by now(working on 600%) and i can tell that there is still a difference than to 300%.

I know how it works and i know that after +300% i should see another speed up but i dont know what is that percentage i need to achieve, then u can tell me how much attack speed i need for the next breaking point?

Ehh i cant edit apparently,

another solution to this problem would be taking off fps limit which is 60, but that would have to be done by the devs, i tried to do it on my side and for all things i did, it didnt worked.

And, for another matter, official servers have implemented attack animation auto-cancel which speeds up attack speed. We dont have it on this server.

they have not implemented an animation cancel, they have just implemented something that automaticly restart the first hit of the chaincombo once the full animation is complete. animation canceling could speed this progress up to x2 of the usual speed because you can cut out like half of the animation by canceling it with a certain technique :)

maybe you have reached the border of animation speed because the game was never meant to have animations performed this fast. (Invoker got the fastest animation with summoner)

i wouldn't suggest this because people with the best pc would have the easiest game since he can use all attackspeed to its maximum. how it is now all players have the same conditions to play with

I tried to use canceling animation but it just slowing me down, and works properly only with chain Combo turned on.
Idk if theres more to it, im just bummed that there is some kind of attack speed cap, which is one of the most statisfying stats to stack for invokers gameplay. Sure 60fps lock is just a way to make game fair, it was only an idea.
But its feel strange when im exclusively trying to get any item I can with attack speed just to to get faster, and not being able to actually achieve more speed.

And here you say u can see a difference, u mean as invoker?

I know that it's about different servers but could u test it by using macros if u actually can see speedups whilst being over 300% ?
That would atlaest assure me that I still have room for boosting my atk spd.

doesn't matter how much attackspeed you have macros will always boost the attackspeed the way i use them. Means macros i could use can make 200%attackspeed look like 300%
